LEAFLET SUPPOSITORIES

Qualitative and quantitative composition:
One suppository contains: bismuth subgallate – 270mg, zinc oxide – 90mg, Hamamelis virginiana extract – 60mg, horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) extract – 20mg, calendula (Calendula officinalis) extract – 10mg, semi-synthetic glycerides, anhydrous lanolin , castor oil, colloidal silicon dioxide, water.
Appearance: Homogeneous suppositories, yellow to deep yellow, without undissolved particles or air bubbles

Therapeutic indications:
Avaron suppositories is a medical device used in the short-term treatment of internal hemorrhoids, anal and perianal itching, anitis and perianitis, rectitis, cryptitis, papillitis, anal and perianal fissures. It forms a protective barrier with a decongestant, emollient and astringent effect on the damaged anal mucosa.

Doses and method of administration:
The recommended dose is 1 suppository administered intrarectally twice a day, after local hygiene, preferably after stool. The administration is done with a clean and disinfected hand, applying gentle pressure, without forcing the suppository into the anal canal. For easier application, suppositories are kept in the refrigerator. It is recommended not to have a stool for the first 3 hours after the internal application of the suppository. The duration of administration is 5 – 7 days, which may vary depending on the evolution of the symptoms and the age of the condition. Afterwards, the treatment can be continued with a single daily application, for a maximum of 30 days.

Contraindications
Do not use Avaron suppositories in case of hypersensitivity to any of the product components

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Avaron suppositories can be administered to pregnant women only under the supervision of a specialist doctor
Effects on the ability to drive and use machines
None of the product components affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Special warnings and precautions for use
Due to the composition of the product, no precautions are generally required. Sanitize your hands and private area thoroughly before administering the suppository
Do not use suppositories with damaged sockets or traces of substance on the outside of the socket
Do not use suppositories that are uneven in appearance or have traces of agglomerated particles.
Do not split suppositories.
Notify the manufacturer or the competent authorities of any serious incident caused by the use of the medical device Avaron suppositories.

Side effects
Local, mild, transient irritations may rarely occur. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Contact your doctor if you suspect that you are having side effects related to the device or its use, or if you are concerned about the risks.

Special precautions for storage
Store at temperatures between 2°C and 25°C, in the original packaging, away from direct sunlight.
