Zinc oxide

Zinc oxide is antiseptic and astringent. Its action is due to zinc’s ability to precipitate proteins. Zinc oxide is also used to absorb moisture, reduce the feeling of pressure and reduce the growth capacity of certain bacteria. By destroying a significant part of infectious pathogens that can settle in the affected area, zinc oxide protects tissues from the development of infections and reduces the inflammatory reaction.

The zinc oxide in the Avaron composition reduces the risk of local infection, the site of the hemorrhoidal lesion being a favorable environment for the development of pathogenic microorganisms.
